Okay so you want to lose weight without going to the gym. Sounds difficult and impossible without those fancy diets and extensive fitness regimes to the devoted gym worshippers but as a matter of fact, you can practically lose weight even you simply love food! Just follow this small list of tips based on practical lessons and lose that thin strip of fat from around your stomach and over your thighs. All you have to do is ensure:

  1. You are burning more calories than you are consuming. Diet plays the most important role in weight loss so keep yours under check.

  2. That you never go on strict diets, never avoid foods that you enjoy eating - these two mistakes will eventually end up in making you want to eat more by binging on say, chocolates.

  3. That you are eating food which make you ‘feel’ full, and that not necessarily makes you full. The reason is good that this curbs appetite.

  4. You dont have to go on any fancy diets, weight loss plans or strict fitness schedules as these are difficult to follow.

  5. ‘Work out’ by doing small chores around the house such as mowing the lawn with a non motorised mower, going to a grocery store which is not around the corner, etc.

  6. Walking more, avoiding elevators and brisk walking as it helps a lot in the long run by putting you into the habit of being active, not lazy.

  7. That you go for window shopping in big malls or long avenues and confusing flea markets- one walks an average of 5 to 8 miles in two hours of window shopping which is very benefical to help lose weight.

If you do not have a lifestyle which is busy enough, chances are high you will put on weight. So get up and get going, not to the gym, but the mall.
